If you attempt to use ctrl+E in an empty editbox (both original and translation), it throws up an error window with OK to continue working, or Cancel to exit the program. Perhaps the Cancel to exit part should be omitted from the error window, (if not the whole notification itself, as it doesn't actually do anything) since closing it with Esc, actually exits the program without saving, and OK resumes as if no error occurred.

This is the standard error message for every error. But you're correct, the user might not read the text and instinctively press Cancel and loose progress. I'll consider modifying it.
But there will simply be no error message in the next version, because the bug will be fixed :)
