    Hey!

I was so happy using SW 6.0 e /12, which finally has UTF8!!!!

And then, I can't load any videos because of the EZeroDivide error.

I try to load a video and I get this error always.

It happens with mov and mp4 videos, not sure if with some others too.

And also, the program takes a LONG time to load. Sometimes more than one minute!
My computer is an ASUS 8 G RAM.

I have all the codecs and videos are working fine with other programs.

    Can you help, please????

    Thanks!

I'd like to help, but I never had such kind of error.
And don't know how to reproduce it here.

I would bet on problems with codecs, Haali-splitter, VobSub settings.
And suggest to try other video containers, after analyse them with MediaInfo.

Hey, thanks so much for your answer. The thing is that all the other programs are working perfectly. And some of them have complicated settings, and I don't want to mess them up. SW always worked fine before this.
Also the huge loading times are strange. And the machine starts like working hard to load it.
Anyways, I installed Matroska (Haali) and nothing changed.

    Put the media informations here.
Did you tried other containers? I mean, AVI, MKV, TS, FLV, WEBM, MWV, WEBM?

Take a look at your codec enviroment.
    My system has K-Lite bundle:

    Hey,

Thanks so much for your help!

So, I tried one .AVi and it works! According to Media Info, it is an MPEG-4 Visual Microsoft PAL.
But a different one didn't work. And I don't have other types of videos.

Here are the installed codecs and the AVI that didn't work on SW.

    =====================
Your sample is a xvid format, an old and deprecated codec.
But it isn't the source of the problem, I guess.

May you cut a small piece of the problematic video (using direct stream copy) and put it somewhere, like WeTransfer?
    I can analyse it.

Your imagem from System Information is not useful.
Better to see your codec configuration, like this:

Hey, thanks so much for your help!
But it's NOT just one video I have problems with, it's ALL of the mp4 and mov I tried.
I see from Media Info some videos had the AVC codec.
This is my log from the Codec Tweak tool.

    Thanks!

Do you see anything special that could be the problem here?

    Thanks!

Sorry, but it's hard to see the problem without reproduce the same here.

    Try to change render engine:

    WOW!!! It's working now!

I tried changing the video rendering and now it's working!!

And it's VERY strange, because that's obviously one of the first things I tried initially, but only NOW it's working.

    Thanks!!!!

    Hello.

I came here to expose a problem almost the same as Val's. My SW 6.0b program (which had been working perfectly) crashed when trying to load videos (no matter what the format/length of the videos) and when I was trying to make a sync ( eg via the Sync Point). I used so far the VLC Player without any problems.

I tried to reinstall SW 6.0b and restore defaults, but the problem continued.

After reading your messages, I was more relaxed to realize that I wasn't the only one to have this problem, but as I don't understand very well about codec settings and configurations nor which programs dominate them, I didn't understand very well the suggestions given by "GabArito".

I think I fixed the problem (now it seems to be working) after going to: General Settings -> Video Player -> and changed the selection from "VLC Media Player" to "mpv" (by clicking "download mpv") . But I would like to know where I could go to change the rendering of the video (render engine), as shown by "GabArito" in a screenshot image. Is it somewhere in Subtitle Workshop or another program?

    Thank you very much.
