CTRL+TAB for switching to player full screen not working when in "Subtitle Editor" tab
(it works when in "Player" tab]
can't do precise seeking when loaded mp4 video (mp4 container with h.264 video and aac audio), so trying to found e.g. when exactly some in screen title begins (to place translated subtitle) is impossible - when loaded avi video it works
using avs with FFmpegSource2("video.mp4", vtrack = -1, atrack = -1, timecodes="timecodes_file.txt") works like avi, so it is possible workaround, but it is not much stable (I experienced some crashes somehow when seeking (probably too much) back)
other possible workaround is to user Windows XP Mode if you have Windows 7 Proffesional or Ultimate (I has) or Enterprise, but not using Windows Virtual PC, but by VMware Player 3 (has true color support and some graphics acceleration); then it works somewhat fine
only trouble is resizing in full screen, it is not smooth, it is like software only resizing by some cheap alghorithm - it is using very much of CPU, so probably not hardware accelerated
btw: only video renderer that I found in this virtual enviroment able to resize properly (and probably use accelation, because CPU is low) is Haali Video Renderer
I tried in Media Player Classic switching between all available video renderers, and only Haali is working properly
may be that graphics acceleration of vmware is somewhat incomplete and Haali is able to find working parts and use it well
but I can't make SP use Haali Video Renderer
in MPC HC is possible to choose video renderers, and I even got it changed for Window Media Player by changing merits:
using RadLight Filter Manager 1.6
Video Renderer (the second, there were two)
merit 0x00800001 -> 0x00800000
Haali Video Renderer
merit 0x00200000 -> 0x00800001
DirectVobSub (auto-loading version) - it had this merit, important was to Haali had lesser merit than this
merit 0x00800002
but is seems SP is not using default system renderer ;-(
sorry for misspellings and not so good english, I am not native speaker
and it seems it is not possible to edit my first post to correct misspelling that I see now
