Hi, I tried the forums but didn't seem to get very far. Subsonic currently is not picking up any .opus files. I'm sure the permissions are correct as its seeing everything else in the folder, and I tried a chmod 777. I have tried adding opus to the mp3 transcoder as well. all other file types I have tried are working and all codecs seem to be installed as mplayer will play the files fine. Is there something I'm missing, is this a bug? From what I understand subsonic does have opus support, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

So, I am BY NO MEANS an expert on this subject. However: 1) after you add a new transcoder under "Settings/Transcoding" for opus playback, you should be able to SAVE then, 2) go to the "Settings/Players" page and see the status of your change. If there's an error in red type, you must ADD and ENABLE THE TRANSCODER. 3) DIRECTIONS for doing so are
(http://www.subsonic.org/pages/transcoding.jsp) If your libresonic directory is /var/libresonic, transcoders should be installed in /var/libresonic/transcode. You can, alternately, just add "Opus-tools" from (https://opus-codec.org/downloads/) to that directory, which was my solution.
    THEN-
back to "Settings/Transcoding" add a rule for opus to transcode, and, under Step 1, make a ffmpeg reference to execute it, "ln -s $(which ffmpeg) /var/libresonic/transcode/." This should make libresonic work with the default transcoding settings, and play your opus files.
This worked for me...after almost two years of poking....
