The current implementation of lyrics in subsonic is limited to a single best-effort search of a string of artist and title, which is not very accurate.

There is a specification for lyrics stored as metadata in the audio file:
http://id3.org/Lyrics3v2

Subsonic should attempt to read this data before attempting to search chartlyrics.com
