#26 artists with UTF-8 do not show in nav bar after locale chang

In order to get songs with foreign characters to show up in subsonic, I have to set the LANG and LC_CTYPE variables as stated in: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3972 . I then force subsonic to refresh the search index.

After doing this the songs with foreign characters show up when I search for them but not on the bar on the left. I have to either add or remove songs/folders to make the artists with foreign characters appear in the nav bar.

Could you either make it that the nav bar gets refreshed when the search index is refreshed or add an option to manually refresh the nav bar.
