6.1 Podcast: 0 episodes – Error sun.security.validator.ValidatorException:...
Brought to you by:
sindre_mehus
If I add a podcast to my server and try to check for updates I got the "peer not authenticated" error in 6.0. The bug should be fixed in 6.1, ref: https://sourceforge.net/p/subsonic/bugs/201/#677e
Well, it isn't, just updated to 6.1.
The error just got another message:
0 episodes – Error sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
Not any podcast is affected.

Please update your Java installation. Your current version probably doesn't contain the necessary root CA certificates.

Thanks for the reply. Did that.
Java is now "Java SE Runtime Environment 8 Update 131", also updated to Subsonic 6.1.1.
Any broken podcast is now working just fine.
Happy with subsonic since 27.08.2010, keep up the good work.
