#193 Duplicate submissions to Last.fm, regardless of open windows

Subsonic 6.0 is submitting multiple plays to Last.fm, even with only one window open (as opposed to Bug #189, which is about having Subsonic open in multiple tabs/windows).

Same issue here with Subsonic 6.0 (build a7857c) – April 30, 2016.

I am using a Web Player in chrome:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.63 Safari/537.36

I first tried Subsonic in 2009, and reported this problem to Sindre in an email. Stopped using Subsonic as a result.

Reinstalled Subsonic this week and lo and behold - it's still a problem, almost 8 years later. Really such a shame, since Subsonic is otherwise an incredible music player.
