I'm running Subsonic 5.1 at home on a Windows 7 machine. My work machine is a Mac running OS X 10.9.5, and I'm accessing the Subsonic web interface using Firefox 35.
The problem I'm encountering is demonstrated in the attached screenshot. I have Subsonic pinned as a tab in Firefox (so it always opens when I start Firefox), and 50-60% of the time I start Firefox, I get a JS alert that says "$(...) is null". Nothing behind the alert loads (album art, the player, etc.) until I hit OK.

There is a discussion on the Subsonic forums (here), but I didn't see an official ticket in this bug tracker, so I wanted to add this.
