#13 Subsonic service stops responding for a number of users

As discussed on the subsonic user forum, a number of users are experiencing a non responsive subsonic service every few days of uptime. The service becomes unresponsive, cannot be restarted and requires a reboot. Here is the relevant thread:

As you can read, it is occurring to users on windows and Ubuntu, on fresh OS installs as well as stale ones, at least one user is noticing high memory usage before the crash and suspects a memory leak.
