Here is my server info:
Version 4.1 (build 1806) – September 10, 2010
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_20, Linux (58.1 MB / 80.7 MB)
Existing album covers are displayed, but this is what happens when I use the web interface to tell Subsonic to download album covers:

I have the same issue. Server: freenas 9.2 (FreeBSD)
I have the same problem as well. I'm running Subsonic version 5.0 on windows 7 latest updates installed.
Me too. It says "image successfully loaded", but even after I refresh and re-set my folder navigation, no joy.
I'm having the same problem here as well.
Same here, but the image IS downloaded and available in the correct folder. The old image seems only to be cached somewhere. In the database perhaps?

Hello All,
Running on Windows 7 here, 5.21. I've been having a similar issue. I tried editing tags in another program to remove any album art that may be lingering, I tried removing the album from my media folder, refreshing and cleaning up the DB, then re-adding, clearing cache and logging out, but nothing worked.
Finally, I looked at the cover art image saved in the folder and noticed it was a png file. I converted to JPEG and inexplicably, it refreshed right away. I had a few other albums whose artwork would not update, and sure enough they were png images. After converting to JPEG, they all updated.
Hope this helps get to the bottom of the issue.
Thanks,
chipmunkofdoom2
Thanks, this will be fixed in Subsonic 5.3.
I've found that its downloading the files as cover.jpg. If I change the filename from cover.jpg to AlbumArtSmall.jpg and refresh, subsonic is picking it up properly. This should help in the mean time until its fixed, as this has been killing my OCD :).

This is still happening for me in 5.3 beta 2. I can download art, then click back, and it never shows up. The jpg is written to the directory though.

If you could inform us how this works; that could help. Is it one image file for the thumbnail and cover when yoiu click through to the album itself?

Saw this on 5.3 Ubuntu 12.04LTS
No noticable log lines that might describe why no results are found. This hasn't been working for me for a while now.

I mostly don't get to see any album art from my Subsonic server running on a Raspberry PI 3 (OS=Rasperrian). But with the same music collection accessed through a standard Subsonic server running on Windows 10 al is fine. It would be nice to know how they take/produce the album art, I if there is something I can do...?

Hi
I notice this has already been highlighted but has this been resolved?
