#21 vfat isn't recognise

submount doesn't recognize the vfat filesystem of my compact-flash, even if I tell it in the fstab file. Instead the kernel outputs:
subfs: submountd execution failure. Error 256

There is also an entry in the syslog:

Jan 13 23:00:29 thinkpad submountd: unable to determine filesystem type
Jan 13 23:00:29 thinkpad submountd: mount failure, Success
Jan 13 23:00:29 thinkpad kernel: subfs: submountd execution failure. Error 256

submount, however recognize the vfat partition of my sm-card (it has just 8MB storage)
