Currently instructors can see the id number for every forum thread.
Students cannot see this number (we omitted it to save space).

Once we have the full page forum (issue [#4795]) implemented, let's change it so that all users see the thread numbers on the full page version of the forum. And no users see the thread numbers once a specific thread is selected.

Or maybe we only show the thread number of the currently selected thread, in the top post of the thread, on the right side of the screen?
