It supports the most common text-based subtitle formats and allows for subtitle editing, conversion and synchronization. It is written in C# and can be used with platforms like Mono or the .NET Framework. It is currently used in the Gnome Subtitles project [1]. * About: http://sublib.sf.net/about/ * Download: http://sublib.sf.net/download/ * API: http://sublib.sf.net/api/ What's New? =========== - Added support for subtitle translation * Translation property in each Subtitle * Search methods now search in translation too * Select the type of text content (text or translation) to use when saving * Allow to clear translations and import a translation into existing subtitles - Try every detected encoding instead of only the first one, and use the first encoding that works - Allow to trim subtitle lines when getting them - When replacing blank lines, also apply the replacement if the text is empty - EncodingNotSupportedException is now thrown if an Encoding is not supported by the platform, when opening a file - Fixed some bugs that were visible when doing a backwards search - Updated NCharDet Features ======== Subtitle formats: * Advanced Sub Station Alpha * MicroDVD * MPlayer * MPlayer 2 * MPSub * SubRip * Sub Station Alpha * SubViewer 1.0 * SubViewer 2.0 Timing operations: * Auto-adjust timings based on 2 correct times / synchronization points * Shift subtitles by a specified delay * Convert between framerates * Set input and output framerates * Edit times and frames Other features: * Support for subtitle translation * Edit subtitle headers * Search for text, possibly using Regular Expressions * Replace all occurences of some text in the subtitles * Find the subtitle at the specified time position * Character coding and subtitle format auto-detection (on opening) * Relaxed subtitle reading, to read subtitles that contain errors * Modular parsing engine which uses regular expressions to describe subtitle formats * Possibility to list the bits of text which couldn't be read as subtitles References ========== [1] - Gnome Subtitles - http://gnome-subtitles.sf.net -- Pedro Castro |
