Well I agree. I remember now that Pascal actually does it better
than C (in my opinion) by holding the length in the first byte.

I've almost finished implementing the format.

Also, I changed it so there are also "unsigned int" for no's of
vtx's in a polygon. It's just easier to use the same types.

It's annoying: type lengths aren't constant. I'm saying an
int is 2 bytes, a float is 4 bytes and a short is one byte.
Maybe more memory will be allocated, but I don't care :-) As
long as the correct info is read and written to our object
files then that's fine with me.
