1) It is now possible to use a different password for the private-keys
of digital certificates in JKS keystores, from the password of the

Release Candidate 1.3 available

This is a minor release to fix the bug identified below.
A hard-coded date in cli.jar prevented the sample data from
loading correctly after January 01, 2009. This has now been
fixed. Additionally, when Sun fixed the JDK to take care of
a bug in the JCE related to 3DES key-sizes, we updated our
code to fix our workaround.... read more

Public Review of SKSML 1.0 begins

The OASIS Enterprise Key Management Infrastructure (EKMI) TC has recently
approved the following specification as a Committee Draft and approved the
package for public review:

Symmetric Key Services Markup Language (SKSML) Version 1.0

The public review starts today, 24 July 2008, and ends 23 September 2008. This
is an open invitation to comment. We strongly encourage feedback from potential
users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of
improving the interoperability and quality of OASIS work. Please feel free to

Release Candidate 1.2 available

Release Candidate 1.2
---------------------

This is a minor release to update the digital certificates that
expired in August 2008 in the RC1.1 distribution. There is no
change in the code or instructions for installation. The new
certificates are valid until early August 2010.

Release Candidate 1.1 Available

StrongKey RC 1.1 is now available with a minor update that renewed expired certificates in the distribution. Neither the code nor installation instructions have changed - just the digital certificates that authenticate the clients and servers, and which protect the symmetric keys.
