This database of Issuing Bank Names and prefix number is constantly being updated. It is included in every Stripe Snoop release in the "visa-pre.txt" file, or you can get the most recent copy from the cvs tree

After finding out about your software (thanks slashdot) and downloading it, I had a look at the source code and decided that the database system needs an overhaul.
I have thought about it and have an idea for the format, (it is general enough to suit everything I can think of)
