As per the topic, would be nice if the app would remember the window size from the previous run and use it the next time.
As author I can classify this as bug.
Saving the window size is what it should already do.
But I have no clue as to why it's failing:

Should be in config/window.json. But the entry is always empty.
Found the culprit. The size saving code was alright. But it just got called after Gtk+ already deleted the window properties.
I've now changed the Glade UI file, and have a better signal for the close button bound to our _quit() method. So the windows properties get saved before Gtk makes them inaccessible.
As a workaround, you could meanwhile disable *automatic* property saving. Or always close ST2 via the Menu entry.
