the 1st link (hirschmilch) doesn't work because SSL is involved
the 2nd (schizoid) doesn't work because there is no such valid URL (maybe removed since you wrote your request)

please try this, it's working for me right now :

URL='http://hirschmilch.de:7000/psytrance.mp3' streamripper $URL -d /tmp -a psytrance.mp3 -A -l 60 -u 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0'

As said before, the problem is coming from the redirect (for which I published the patch), but from the SSL which isn't supported. This project has been left for dead, unfortunately, it's like nobody wants to wet his shirt for it. BTW thanks for giving me this radio link :)

  Should the title of this bug be changed from "Streamripper doesn't work with redirect URLs" to "Streamripper doesn't work with HTTPS" or should I open a new bug?
