David,

I need to know a little more about your new configuration.  You said you 
are using Linux, but I also need the following:

Web Server Name and Version:
PHP Version:
And how how php interfaces with the web server (CGI/mod_php4 etc.)

Now if I might take a stab in the dark.  If you are using apache, did 
you remember to copy the configuration options that are in the 
streamline/doc/apache.conf file into your apache configuration (and 
change the path to /data/music/)?  If not this would cause the problem 
you are seeing.  Let me know.  Thanks.
