Version 0.9.4.1 of the Trillian Sametime plugin is available for download. It fixes a bug where Astra displays 2 "Disconnect" entries in the context menu.

Dear stplugin users,

I would like to introduce myself as the new admin for the stplugin project. The project has be "abandoned" for quite some time (over three years), and with no one actively developing/mainting a plugin for Trillian I felt the urge to start things going. This is mainly because I use Sametime at work and don't use/need the collaboration features (whiteboard, desktop sharing, etc) of the native client...plus I like having only 1 messenger client running. :)... read more

My personal involvement and ownership of the SourceForge Sametime plug-in (stplugin) project will end on Tuesday, 22 Feb 05.

As many of you may know, IBM offers a Sametime plug-in for Trillian on the IBM alphaWorks (http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/stplugin4trillian) site. While current versions of the alphaWorks plug-in and my SourceForge plug-in currently have different capabilities, we share a common goal, which is to improve the Sametime user experience and provide productivity enhancements for Sametime users.... read more

I am pleased to announce the availability of Trillian Sametime plugin version 0.9.0.55 (alpha). All Sametime plugin users are urged to download/install the 0.9.0.55 release.

This new alpha release adds the following functionality to the Sametime plugin:

- Your Sametime account status is changed based on Trillian status change events, including idle, away, and back status'.

- A logger version, named SametimeLogger.dll, is now provided to allow a user to obtain a detailed log showing the interaction between the Sametime plugin and the Trillian API.
