The stmpe24xx are a series of GPIO expander chips from ST Microelectronics that are typically found in mobile devices such as the Peek Mobile as well as various industrial handhelds.

The stmpe24xx interfaces via the i2c bus and provides up to 24 extra GPIO lines, 3 programmable PWM channels, 1 rotator input, and a up to 8x12 matrix keypad inputs.
