I'm trying to port STLport 5.1.3 to an embedded OS which does have some posix support. It doesn't support locales at all and so I was wondering what to do about:

.../STLport/stlport/stl/c_locale.h:430:4: #error Unable to find your platform locale facets definitions, please grant them.

Most other problems I've encountered, I've managed to work around by setting various _STLP_... macros. However, it seems that c_locale.h is very much tied to the #defines defined by the compiler/os.

So, what's the best way to cope with this?

This is unclear request [some UNKNOWN OS with some UNKNOWN POSIX support (?!)]. BTW we has no plans to fix fundamental OE problems. This concern support of locales too. We can't provide locale support in STLport, if OE not provide locale support itself.
