Hello everybody !
First, I'd like to congratulate all for your work.
I'm using STLPort since 2 year without any problem and with performance which increase
each time I update a new release of the library.
I used to develop with the 6.0 version of micro$oft visual c++ compiler.
I migrated dev to the new version of visual 2008 but the current release version (5.1.5) of STLPort doesn't compile with this compiler, so I download the STLPort SVN trunk version, it work perfectly. In order to y boss prefer using release :)
So, It's why I post here my answer : "have you got any idea about when you'll make a new release of
STLPort with VC2008 support ?"
I would like to do it asap but we are still wondering if we integrate some major modifications before or after it. If it is after you won't see a version before at least 3 months...
Let me kindly ask whether you already know more about time and scope of the next release.
Since 2008-08-26 the repository contains a branch STLport-5.2. Which changes block this release?
Thanks a lot for your response.
How did I know when the decision will be taken ?
