Do you get an undefined symbol when you insmod StJude?
These are being caused by include files that refrence a symbol that is not being linked or exported from the kernel.
If its caused by a non-exported symbol, you can find
the symbol in the source by doing "grep SYMBOL *.c"
If its caused by include files, then the above command
(assuming SYMBOL is the symbol that is not found) is
will return no matching lines.
In this case check that /usr/include/linux and /usr/include/asm
are links to the currently running version of the linux source's
include/linux and include/asm directories. On redhat and Mandrake these directories (/usr/include/linux and /usr/include/asm) are usualy not symbolic links, but rather
directories with the include files from the kenrel-headers rpm.
If, after verifying that the directories are correct, contact me
via email (lawless@netdoor.com) and include:
1. Distro information
2. Kernel version
3. Patches
4. Symbols failing the install
