There is a big problem with the forum hosting: basically I found out that the webserver was hacked, I think via PHP, and because of the continuous maintenance needed for the punBB software I decided to quit this hosting (http://woas.iragan.com/) and move the forums to a more easily maintainable service.
PunBB was a mistake in first place: it has had a lot of security issues over time, and requires continuous maintenance; now we need to fix this mistake.
1- forums at http://woas.iragan.com/ will go offline in about 2 weeks, a read-only copy will be provided at same address as soon as possible; the Internet Wayback Machine also has copies of our forums
2- new "official" SourceForge.net forums: https://sourceforge.net/p/stickwiki/forum/new-forums/ anonymous posting is enabled temporarily to ease the discussion of current users
3- if we have found new forums, then I will take care of helping in the transition - otherwise the SourceForge forums shall stay as new official forums
4- in the end only a static copy of the current forums will be kept, since PunBB software will be dismissed
Please accept my apologies for such abrupt news - I will do my best to avoid disgregation and community data loss

OK, if the other server is safer, migrate.

Sorry to hear about the forums. I don't visit often as people have told me they couldn't join, and I couldn't access it for a year or two.
I am a day or two away from releasing what I call Woas 13.0 Beta 1. I am still working with Tiddlywiki to get a TiddlySaver.jar that will work with the latest Java at high security settings, probably still a week or so away (I have to send it away for signing and Java now stops unsigned applets from running).
My version works with all IEs, Firefox with the TiddlyFox extension or Java, and other browsers with Java, though I will only be checking and fixing for older browsers once I'm finished updating. It has image and file embedding for all browsers and I am just finishing up getting Export to work more effectively (and have a little bit more to do on the help system and upgrading content). I intend to add it to the zip file here when done, as I have been doing, unless you object. It would be better to replace the old, broken file with it, depending on your plans for the future.
My version has kept macros compatible while adding advanced features, but has changed a lot of code, possibly breaking some old macros ... I am going through the "official" macros updating them and creating pages for them which I include in the download. I haven't tried to fix any of the plugin issues and don't intend to in this version, though I will be checking that I have working versions of the plugins you included in the project.
Do you still have plans for a reboot?

Well, Daniel/Legolas locked http://woas.iragan.com/ (login does not work anymore) and posted about it today, this means that we should use the SourceForce forum. The community is not dead, we just need to gather back here.

Hi All,
I am coming with bitter news.
There is a big problem with the forum hosting: basically I found out that the webserver was hacked, I think via PHP, and because of the continuous maintenance needed for the punBB software I decided to quit this hosting (http://woas.iragan.com/) and move the forums to a more easily maintainable service.

I have considered a few online free forum software offers, but none of them seem viable - please advise if you have some ideas in this forum:
https://sourceforge.net/p/stickwiki/forum/new-forums/
Meanwhile, this is the roadmap:
1- forums at http://woas.iragan.com/ will go offline in about 2 weeks, a read-only copy will be provided at same address as soon as possible; the Internet Wayback Machine also has copies of our forums
2- new "official" SourceForge.net forums: https://sourceforge.net/p/stickwiki/forum/new-forums/ anonymous posting is enabled temporarily to ease the discussion of current users

sure, these SourceForge forums are great for safety - although they look sluggish and slow to me :s
If you want to be free of maintenance, I recommend to use the SourceForge forums. Don't post your own php.
Well, I think the project is completly dead now!
Best to all, who are looking for alternatives!
regards, Ireng

the http://woas.iragan.com/ forums are still up - and seemingly active - though nobody has posted since Dec 2013.
I'd be interested in hearing about changes as they occur. Perhaps the SF notification service will do...
