Hi Bill

Please note that the document_management does not actually assign a
document to anything. (product_definition etc)

To do that you will have to extend the relevant select and mappings.

 

I have modified the scope statement to reflect this.

 


1 Scope


This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module for Document
management. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO
10303: 

*         facility to assign documents to product or activity data;

NOTE 1   The definition of the product or activity data to which the
document is assigned is provided by extending the select,

*         facility to assign parts or sections of documents to product

I was wondering whether the scope statements of other assignment modules
such as date_time_assignment and document_assignment perhaps ought to be
more explicit.
