Is there an easy way to run Stellarium on a tiled display run by a cluster of computers?
I am new to Stellarium but haven't found the answer. We have an 8x4 tiled display called WILD (https://www.lri.fr/~mbl/WILD/) and would love to run Stellarium on it. The wall is run by a 16-computer cluster (each computer drives 2 screens). The typical approach, which we have used for other software, is:
- run a replica of the application on each computer (or one each screen)
- arrange for each replica to display a different part of the scene so they mesh properly
- control all the replicas from a master copy of the application, by communicating all the changes done in the master to the replicas
This has worked well for, e.g. Google Maps or PyMol (3D molecules). Any idea on how to do this with Stellarium without putting our hands too deep in the code? Are the scripting facilities enough?
Thanks for your feedback!
You seem to have CSS turned off.

We don't researched possibility of running Stellarium on cluster of computers because before that feature has been not needed.
