Finding ver. 0.6.0 of sep. 9?

  • Nobody/Anonymous

Thank you for a great program, you even got my girlfriend interested in stars and constallations...

I have the slow rendering problem so I was going to get the latest version (According to the Stellarium homepage: 0.6.0 as of september 9, 6028kB) but when I go to Sourceforge from all the files are 5807kB which is the same, slow, version I have now.
Where do I get september 9?

I think it is caused by a cache, try to download it from there :

Sorry, on that page (where I got the one I have) it says:
      stellarium-0.6.0.exe 5946315
This leeds me to the downloadpage where it says (and is) 5807 kb.
Ive tried to restart my computer but no luck.

I've been reading and looking at the next version in the forum and it looks really interesting.
I must say I'm impressed that you learned even one word finnish, I'm from Sweden and we're totally lost.

OK, the 1st release date is 9 september, but the executable is actually 30 september.

The one the the link is :
        5946315 sep 30 16:53 stellarium-0.6.0.exe

If you have this date and size in byte then you do have the last version....

If it is still slow, then you found a bug or your computer is slow!

For the finnish words, I was studying in Finland for one year in Tampere, that's why :) Unfortunately, i really can't have a real conversation in finnish...

        Moi moi!

      Just a precision for the 5807kb :
      1kb = 1024 byte so 5946315 byte = 5946315/1024 = 5086.9 kb!

      So that's correct!
