Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to calculate any date, both forward
and backwards, on stellarium, say like the year 10 billion BC on 10 billion AC
    ? Thanks!

Not with any useful accuracy. There are some factors which simply cannot be
predicted. For example, the rotation of the Earth changes over long periods of
time in ways which are chaotic, making the rise and set times of objects is
the sky incorrect by a significant factor. We limit the time period of the of
the simulation to a window in time where we think we have some reasonable
    degree of accuracy.

Orbital elements are also variable... some more than others. See the Precision
appendix of the user guide for a list of precision data for various
    calculations.

In the case of the Earth's rotation, historical changes can be compensated
for. This is done by applying an adjustment called Delta-T. At present
Stellarium does not do delta-T adjustment, but there are plans to include it
    in future.
