Installed and set location but when I start Stellarium the sky is off by many, many hours i.e. it's noon and the sky shows 8pm, I reset my location and checked the system time and both are correct. Info. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and my location is Kwajalein in the Marshall islands. Thanks for the help in advance. Kurt

Is the time zone in your PC set to the right value?
In the Configuration window, choose Plug-ins and Time zone.
Thanks Kird! That fixed it.
HI, could you tell me how you fixed it in the time zone at plug-ins? I'm having the same problem. thanks, suzanne
First, make sure that your computer's time and time zone are set correctly.
Second, make sure that your location in Stellarium is set correctly - there are no mismatched signs in the longitude/latitude pair, etc.
If you have used the Time Zone plug-in in the past, and the wrong time zone remains after deactivating the plug-in, reset Stellarium's settings to clear it.
If you are trying to view locations different from the current location/time zone of your computer, have in mind that you'll have to compensate for the time difference manually. This will change in future versions.
