On Mac OS X 10.6.8, when I press (shift) PgUp/PgDn to
zoom the Field of View, Stellarium doesn't sense the
press for about a second, and continues to zoom for about
a second after I release the key. It's difficult to
adjust the FoV to more precisely than a factor of about 2.
The behavior is much nicer on Ubuntu Linux: a press of
about 1/4 second zooms by one increment of about 20%.
This comparison is more than fair to Mac -- my Ubuntu
is a VirtualBox guest running on the same MacBook, and
is burdened by whatever virtualization overhead.
