    Add Phobos and Deimos to Mars!

    I did a little more tinkering (see 'Add Rhea to Saturn' and 'Add Tethys to Saturn'), but view this as an incentive to explore the workings of this program.
    Warning! These modifications are not entirely accurate, just fairly close.

    Now to do this right you will need to use a graphics editor; I used IrfanView which is free.

    In the ssystem.ini add three tabs (hit enter three times) from Mar's entry and then put in this:

    [phobos]
    name = Phobos
    parent = Mars
    radius = 22.2
    halo = true
    color = 1.,1.,1.
    tex_map = phobos
    tex_halo = star16x16
    lightning = true
    albedo = 0.06
    rot_rotation_offset = 318.9
    rot_obliquity = 0.6

    rot_equator_ascending_node = 186.6

    coord_func = ell_orbit
    orbit_Epoch = 2451545.0
    orbit_Period = 0.31891
    orbit_SemiMajorAxis = 9380
    orbit_Eccentricity = 0.0151
    orbit_Inclination = 1.08
    orbit_AscendingNode = 164.931
    orbit_LongOfPericenter = 2.262
    orbit_MeanLongitude = 317.724

    [deimos]
    name = Deimos
    parent = Mars
    radius = 12.6
    halo = true
    color = 1.,1.,1.
    tex_map = deimos
    tex_halo = star16x16
    lightning = true
    albedo = 0.21
    rot_rotation_offset = 318.9
    rot_obliquity = 0.6

    rot_equator_ascending_node = 186.6

    coord_func = ell_orbit
    orbit_Epoch = 2451545.0
    orbit_Period = 15.945421
    orbit_SemiMajorAxis = 23460
    orbit_Eccentricity = 0.0002
    orbit_Inclination = 1.793
    orbit_AscendingNode = 339.600
    orbit_LongOfPericenter = 0
    orbit_MeanLongitude = 120

    Now keep three tabs (hit enter three times) apart from the next entry which should be Jupiter;

    Use the Titan.png by copying it and changing the title to phobos.png and deimos.png if you have a graphics editor like IrfanView, change it to brown or gray, you will have a suitable texture;
    I will send xalioth my little (improvised) png. Please accept my humble efforts with a grain of salt;

      Thank you! I wondered why the two moons have not been integrated in the program, but this solution is better than nothing. Does someone knows how to make the name of them been displayed in the map? They don't appear with this modifications above in the ssystem.ini.

      Add the names to the file planet_names.eng.fab.
      Format it like this: "name tab label"

      Done! Thanks for the tinkering.

        You're welcome jomejome;
        You will notice that the positions of the moons are not exactly where they are supposed to be; I am working on that;
        At least we get a good idea where they are;
        Thank you,
