    Apparently the F1 full screen toggle doesn't work in XP. Is there any workaround or regular feature I've overlooked that can minimize Stellarium in WinXP? I'd love to keep Stellarium running, but minimized, when I need to access other programs.

      Another way to minimise STELLARIUM is to
      hold down the WINDOWS key
      and then press the TAB key

      This means you dont have to be so precise in trying to hold down ALT and TAB at the same times!

      Otherwise, thansk for a great looking programme >:*)

      elo
      just hit the 'windows button' it'll bring up the taskbar, then you can click on the 'show desktop button'

      steelarium uses alot of memory/cpu so watch the temperature readings if too many things openned at the same time!

      i have two monitors, you cannot leave the stellarium window via the mouse for the first time, ie until hitting the 'windows button' but after that the mouse will travel across both windows.

      hope that's easier than the alt-tab route!

      tone =:)

      Hit Alt/tab together to minimise from full screen then to return click on the icon in the task bar. Its a bit dicey to sync the two keys but once you get the knack it's easy.
