    Hello, I'm new here.
    I have a problem with stellarium.
    I connected Arduino and I wrote a small sketch to show the pattern of the (virtual) telescope at a fixed point in stellarium. Everything works, but the log file (log_TelescopeServer1) has this error:

    Connection::performWriting: writeNonblocking(5) returned 5; #:GD#
    Connection::performReading: readNonblocking returned 7; +45*00#
    Lx200CommandGetDec::readAnswerFromBuffer: error: degree sign expected

    You can see step by step what I did to this address:

    Unfortunately at the moment it is only in Italian, but google should not be difficult traslate to english.
    I can not understand what causes this error.
    thanks,
    Ezio

    I solved it, it was a problem in the coding of the degree symbol.
    Stellarium does not want an asterisk *, he wants his place to send ASCII (char) 223:
    Serial.write ((char) 223);
