    Hi
How can I DELETE Juno, Vesta, Ceres ASTEROIDS from the sky display? (I do not
    want to see them).

I ALREADY tried removing references from the following 2 files, but the
    asteroids STILL appear displayed:

Delete references from THIS FILE: data/ssystem.ini
    LOCATION: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stellarium\data

ALSO delete references from THIS FILE: common_objects.inc
    LOCATION: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stellarium\scripts

    Thanks

Stellarium uses the 'ssystem.ini' file in
    C:\Documents and Settings\your account\Application Data\Stellarium\data
    to display astreroids and comets.

    Hi
I am interested in why you want to remove them from the display.
They are shown in real time at the correct magnitude in the current position.

    Thanks, Hendrik_d !

    Great advice.

I opened the file with wordpad, deleted the unwanted references, and saved the
    file.

Perfect. Now they do not display.

    Thanks again.

PS: Regarding the "reason" why I wanted to remove them . . . . I just
personally don't care about tracking those particular points.
