    a screensaver or a active Desktop theme for Win32 could be a cool feature :)

      A screensaver grabbing 100% CPU Time?

      II prefer enabling HLT and saving energy/money/heat dissipation :-) Anyway, I don't think it would be very difficult to launch normal Stellarium after an inactivity period.

      What I would like, though, is a --dump command line option that would silently produce a .png and exit. That way, we would have a cross-platform way to tie that with our wallpaper. Say, every 5 minutes, update the wallpaper with the current sky without atmosphere. This is already possible with KStars and te KDE wallpaper, for example.

      With KStars you can even use your own script to generate the particular view you want. It doesn't have the eyecandy of Stellarium though :-)

      BTW, I recently installed the Debian 0.6.2 package. It works flawlessly, thank you very much.
