Hi, thank you for letting me become a StegFS developper. Yesterday I was just looking to become a user :) . Some infos about me: I'm 34 years old and working at a small company developing software mostly in Java (www.fumix.de). We're also doing some consultancy stuff, but always focused on software development. I am married and have 2 little children and live in Weinheim near Heidelberg in South West Germany. My family will also be the limiting factor for my engagement in this project - so don't think that with my arrival in this project everything will speed up much. Except for computers and family I got one other hobby I don't spent much time upon: Astronomy. So what can I do for this project: * Increase the wishlist that's for sure :) * Taking part in the discussion about the basics of the filesystem. * Maybe some developing - BUT... ... I haven't been programming in C for years and I have never developped a driver, kernel module or anything else near an OS kernel :( But I'm curious in doing so and try to find some time learning it. I think I will start working through the papers to see if my ideas are already included. I'm also going to checkout the source in the CVS to browse over it to get a feeling for the code. Before playing around I also have to get myself 2.6 kernel, since for now I'm still stuck with a 2.4 kernel. Cheers, Michael Am Mittwoch, 5.
