Dear all, I have assembled a service release of StdpC (StdpC2012) fixing a bug in the unit conversion of a parameter in the Hodgkin-Huxley model along with a few minor bugs. Active electrode compensation is now considered as a stable feature of StdpC. A related publication is under review at the Journal of Neuroscience Methods. Please do let me know if you encounter any problems with this release or any other version. Dear friends of StdpC, the 2011 version of StdpC has now been released on sourceforge.net. This is a maintenance version more than a revolutionary new product. The main changes have been the addition of a new synapse model, the modification of the alpha-beta synapse to something more useful, and a sample-and-hold mechanism that is available through scripting. For the latter, data acquisition can be paused on any channel if some artifacts from outside the dynamic clamp are expected. There have also been a number of major and minor bug fixes during the year that are now all included in this most recent version. The manual has been updated to reflect all changes. Enjoy using StdpC and, as always, don't hesitate to contact me if you experience problems or have questions about StdpC.
