Plans for stdnet are as follows:
version 0.05 - fix some minor bugs (I've found one stupid mistake but not critical) and the docs and move to Autoconf so we can port to other platforms - out soon!
By verson 1.0, stdnet should also run on Solaris and Windows. The documentation should be better. Their should be some example code other than the test-code directory. Also, at this time it should be possible to debug your sever through a named-pipe whilst it is connecting to various clients.
