there is room for improvement when calculating LOC.
statcvs's approach for
files which are dead is to approximate the line count
by going through all
and looking at the added/removed lines. this only
yields a lower bound for
the actual line count. (see
we could query svn server (using svn cat) to get the
line count of the last
revision before the file was deleted and feed this into
the LOC calculations.
the advantage of the statcvs approach is that it can be
