I downloaded statfink a few days ago and was editing it to meet my needs. I came across some ideas on here which were also my ideas(user logins, creating leagues, joining leagues, etc.) So far I know that user creation/joining leagues(with passwords) is complete. I also have it setup to where when someone joins a league it gives a listing of the teams in your league for you to pick from and that will be your name in the chat room. The only problem is as most of you know it only shows teams who have a game, no bye weeks so if you have an odd number of teams then whoever has a bye week wont be able to select their team(I am working on this).
I did add create a league last night but it isn't fully operational, have to make it exec some scripts after creating the league.
I also took some themes made by statfink users as well as getting my own hex codes for the various NFL football teams and added in a "skin changer". It only changes the colors of the matchup area though so its nothing too special but its fun.
Lastly what I am adding is a message board system. The layout for this is setup it just isn't functional yet.
If anyone has any ideas on what I should add or try to work on unless StickMan comes back feel free to post here, message me on source forge or email me jakepittnet@hotmail.com

Hi. Thank you for your interest in Statfink. I haven't abandoned the project, so if you'd like to contribute to Statfink you'll need to get into contact with me about the features you'd like to add. We appreciate community contributions.
One thing you may want to look at is phpFFL, another project that does excellent work. http://www.phpffl.com/
They are a slightly different project in that they run the entire league, from the draft to the championship. Their project is a fully featured php fantasy football program. Statfink is generally just for scoring yahoo leagues.
BTW to all, I'm still here, getting things ready so they'll work with this season.

I came across phpFFL last night and was talking with my friend about running out own fantasy football league with it as opposed to our yahoo league, the only issue would be learning the in's and out's and getting the other 10 people in our league on board with switching to an entirely different software.
Statfink is nice because it just connects and uses your yahoo league and makes stat tracker free(great for people who don't like to spend $10 :P)
I'd be interested in hearing which changes you have in mind for this season as it seems for its purpose statfink has everything it needs and the stuff I am adding is merely for personal want.

Let's take this offline and see what we can do as far as what features you've developed and what would be good to add to the official release. My email addy is available at the top of each php file in Statfink.
