[ST-users] Multiple asynchronous operations

What would be the easiest way to be able to wait on multiple
asynchronous operations without having to create a thread per
operation? I'm trying to write my own primitives for this, but I'm not
sure it's possible without modifying ST itself. Any thoughts would be
greatly appreciated.
