Hello Everyone,
I thought that I'd post a quick email to say that there will be a bit more
activity on StatCVS.
Jason and I have been committers for a few months (ok, not much activity I
agree) but recently Project Admin on StatCVS, we're coming from the StatSVN
team and that way, we have been using StatCVS indirectly.
We would like to encourage the community to submit quality patches and
enhancements. We will look at them.
We would like to thank Martin Majlis for 2 enhancements:
- The commit page will now show the revision (under StatSVN mainly)
- The commit page will also tell you how many files were involved
in the commit
We have added 2 new reports which were initially developed for StatSVN
- A dynamic repo map page (see
http://www.statsvn.org/statsvn/repomap.html)
- A LOC Churn page (see http://www.statsvn.org/statsvn/churn.html)
These have been checked in.
We do not have a tight timeline for any other enhancements but I would like
to consider the following items:
- Create a Maven 1 build to generate the web site and extra QA
information (FindBugs, PMD, Simian, QALab). The Ant build would still be
used and maintained.
- Add some optional parameters to change the size of some charts if
required (a CVS repo with lots of data may look a bit squeezed sometimes).
Once it is done I guess we could move to a 0.4 release.
Anyway, we thought we'd introduce ourselves
All the best,
>From London and Ottawa
Benoit & Jason
