I find the commit logs very helpful, especially when I'm preparing a new release and want to remember all the changes that were made. For a while I thought the current version (0.7.0) was broken, because I couldn't see the Commit messages, just a list of months. http://www.owfs.org/statcvs/commitlog.html Fortunately, just before filing a bug report, I chanced to scroll down the long list of months and saw the messages were actually there! So for a project that's been going 7 years, that's 84 entries before the actual data. Even on a big screen it's hidden. The easiest solution seems to be a left frame with the months, and a right frame with the commits. I'm sure there are other approaches with list of vertical years and horizontal months, etc Or [<<] [<] June 2008 [>] {>>] ... Paul Alfille |
