We work with large projects divided into many modules
and directories.
When counting lines-of-code for a directory it would be
interesting to see also the total lines-of-code including
those of the subdirectories. (Separate chart would be
great).
Furthermore our projects are continuous processes. It
would be nice to make it possible to generate statistics
for say a week. Then you would see top commiters per
week/month/year. Those list would be very stimulating
for the developers.

The top author each month is nice, but I agree with the original poster that additional period related statistics are needed. When evaluating a project, especially one that spans over many many years, and as contributors come and go (especially prevalent in open source projects) it's nice to see who's active now. So to go along with the top single contributor, how about listing the top 20 for a given month, and for a given year, and be able to see the information specific for that month/year. This would no doubt have to be a configure option due to the increased resources required but this would (will) be an awesome feature... The current graphs are nice but it doesn't give the whole picture or allow for fine tuned evaluating.
BTW, it's cool to see this project active again... very cool :-)
