Please do a:

mvn -U site

on you project.

I have just deployed a fix to the gray background problem, so you need to
update (-U) your version of StatSCM and it should work.

A same CVS based StatSCM report can be found at:
http://stat-scm.sourceforge.net/stat-cvs/
