#1 Document generator

The Star UML suddenly closes when I try to start the
document generator and then cancel the Office
Frontpage installation.

This is another error on this feature.
When the program begin to generate the Use Case
Specification Document (type .doc). The log window show:
[4:40:13 PM] Document creation starts.(1)
[4:40:13 PM] Generation Usecase Specification Document (UCS)
starts.
[4:40:13 PM] Connected to StarUML.
And it has show the following error:
Error occurs for generating document. Reason : Format '%T'
invalid or incompatible with argument

Hi I am getting the same error. Currently I am running on Windows 7.0 using Microsoft office Starter 2010 and OpenOffice. It can not generate DOC , PPT or XLS file. But it can only generate TXT file. Can anyone help me resolve the isuuue? Thanks in advance.

Hi, if you're using Windows 7, and you performed the installation in the program files. Try accessing the folder "StarUML/modules/StarUML-generator/templates" and change the folder permissions templates to "full control" for all users and system. This is done by clicking the right mouse button on the folder and access the "Security" tab.
