Download

• Go to the download page
• Get the latest software version. We provide binaries for Windows 64-bit system and the full source code for unix-like systems.

Alternatively you can check out the latest source from the svn repository

Prerequisites

Before installing STARucn, you should have installed:

• Gnu Scientific Library (> v1.9)
• ROOT (>v5.28)

If you plan to recompile the sources (mandatory on unix system since we do not provide binaries), you will also need to install Python (> v2.4)

Install

• On Windows 7 : you just need to decompress the archive
• On unix like system:
  1. Decompress the archive
  2. Compile the sources calling make all
  3. Add ./lib to your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable

Run

You should be ready to run STARucn from the main directory, calling ./starucn
