#2 Fully implement collection classes (inc. thread safety)

There are a number of classes that implement the ICollection interface. These should be fully implemented as they currently have a number of methods that throw NotImplemented exceptions or return some hard-coded default. In particular, it would be nice to flesh out the thread-safety of these classes.
